Learn how to use the foam roller so that you can:

  • Safely release tight muscles and relieve aches

  • Effectively position your body properly for exercise and challenges

  • Gently cue your form and alignment so that you can get more out of your exercises

  • Successfully increase core strength and stability to keep you safe and boost function

  • Mindfully improve your body awareness so that you can tell when your body wants to “cheat”

  • Constructively improve your posture

  • Progressively challenge traditional exercises

Workshop details:

This is for:

  • all genders

  • ages teens and up

  • athletes and not athletes 😂

Workshop date: Saturday, August 1

  • Time: 10:30 am EST

  • Offered through zoom (link to be sent)

  • Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours.

  • Cost of the 1.5 hr workshop: $27

  • BONUS: Those who register by JULY 25 will receive a FREE recording of the workshop!

  • NOTE: You’ll need a full-length (36”) foam roller for this workshop.

Special considerations: Foam roller use is generally NOT recommended for those with blood disorders, those on blood thinners, or those who bruise easily. If you have osteoporosis or osteopenia, I am happy to accommodate your needs during the class if you let me know ahead of time. I will offer you alternate moves, or you may sit out a minute and watch. If you aren’t sure if you’re a good candidate for this class, let’s chat!

Workshop itinerary:

  • Duration is approximately 1.5 hours, from 10:30 am EST-12:00 pm EST

  • This includes:

    • 5-minute intro

    • 1 hr 15 min of movement exploration (using the foam roller for muscle release, posture, positioning, core + strength work, form + alignment cueing, exercise challenges!) (We will have a short break about 1/2 way through for hydration, restroom, etc.)

    • Each exercise will be clearly explained and demonstrated. You’ll learn so much!

    • 10 minutes for Q + A or review at the end

About your instructor:

I’m Ashley Prulliere, and I love working with clients of all ages and fitness levels. I began my career in 2005 as a physical therapist, and I’ve since added Pilates, pelvic floor and core wellness, and menopause coaching into the mix.

My approach is evidence-based, challenging, and enjoyable. I use my training, experience, and work expertise to create easy-to-implement, effective programs to boost your wellness.
